How it works

1. One button for both document types

Scan with the iPhone’s built-in document scanner or choose a PDF in Files. Review the pages before giving separate permission for AI reading. This website does not accept documents.

One document at a time, up to ten pages. Two unrelated invoices are never merged into one reading.

2. The reading starts on your phone

PDF text is read locally. Only pages without a text layer go through on-device text recognition. Pictures and PDFs are not sent to AI.

3. You decide before anything is sent

Turning loose text into structured fields — supplier, dates, rows, totals — happens on a server. We ask before that step, every time, and we say plainly what leaves the phone.

You can cancel while it runs. A reading already sent may still finish at the provider, and we say so rather than pretending the cancel undoes everything.

4. The judgement never comes from a model

This is the line we do not cross. A language model extracts and labels what is on the page. Everything after that is ordinary arithmetic and a written rule set, running on your phone, where the same input always gives the same answer.

• Row amounts added up and compared with the printed subtotal.
• Net plus VAT compared with the printed gross total.
• The VAT table compared with the rows it should cover.
• A deduction and the amount to pay compared with what is printed.
• Country rules, where we have written them down and checked the source.

If a check cannot run, it is reported as not run. A missing table is never counted as a passed check.

5. You compare, correct and decide

You see the reading next to the original document. Reading a scan is imperfect, and we would rather show you the number we read than hide it. Correct anything wrong and the result recalculates on the phone — no second reading, no extra cost.

Confirm the reading and answer the follow-up questions. A short result lets you open the full walkthrough even without saving. Missing information never counts as a passed check.

Comparing a quote with the invoice

If you have both documents for the same job, you can read them one after the other and compare them. You confirm that they belong together, and you confirm each row link yourself. Rows we cannot match are shown as unmatched, never quietly counted as extra work.

The difference in money is an arithmetic observation. Whether that difference is allowed depends on what you agreed, and that is a question for you and your tradesperson, not for an app.

What we still cannot do

• No market price comparison. There is no verified price feed behind the app.
• No contract assessment, and no automatic view on additional work.
• No company register lookup, so “the invoice says F-tax” is not the same as “the company is registered for F-tax”.

Library and project finances

The pilot includes a local document library and project finances. You can choose to save originals and reviewed details, group them into projects and track budgets, invoices and payments you record yourself. Reopening needs no new AI reading. Unsaved reviews disappear when the session ends.

Device backup and private iCloud sync are separate, optional choices, off by default. Enabling them can copy originals, reviewed details, projects and payments off your phone. They do not pass through the AI service. iCloud sync is built but has not been verified between real devices; system restore and the production schema also await verification.

For exports you choose the destination, which may be a cloud service. A portable backup also contains originals and personal data and is not password-protected by the app. Portable backup and iCloud sync have a 250 MB limit. You manage exported copies. Turning off sync does not delete the cloud copy; cloud deletion is a separate choice.

Swedish ROT in kronor

Swedish ROT is compared in kronor with a calculated maximum for reviewed labour costs including VAT, where the document provides enough information. Sourced payment periods from 2016 through 2026 include the 2025 rule change. You give the payment year and, where needed, period, not a percentage. Personal ROT allowance and eligibility are not checked.

Price comparisons, a real company register, published customer reviews and sponsorship are not delivered. The pilot’s company view only offers a clearly labelled synthetic preview with fictional companies and reviews.

Coming soon to iPhone and iPad

Kollaoffert is a private Swedish pilot. The app is not in the App Store yet and no launch date has been set.

Sweden is the first planned market. The UK is not open yet. Android and document reviews in the browser are not offered in this phase.
