readmyinvoice is the service and website. The iOS app, Kollaoffert, is a private pilot and is not in the App Store yet. Purchases are disabled.

What this is

readmyinvoice is a tool that helps you read an invoice or a quote from a tradesperson and points out amounts and details worth checking. It is run by a single independent developer as a private pilot. It is not a company service with a support desk, and this website makes no promise about availability.

What a result means

A result is support for your own reading. It is not legal advice, not tax advice, not accounting advice and not a valuation. We are not lawyers, accountants or tax advisers, and a result never approves a document, a price or a deduction.

Reading a scanned document is imperfect. Every reading requires your review against the original, and the app is built so you can see and correct what was read. Acting on a result without that comparison is acting on an unverified reading.

“No differences found” means the checks that were able to run found no difference. It does not mean the document is correct, complete or lawful. Which checks ran, and which did not, is always listed.

Rules and sources

Country rules are published as a dated pack with a source link for each check and a review date. After that date the app stops giving a rule verdict rather than relying on rules that may have changed. Law changes, and a check that was right last year can be wrong this year. Where a source is given, the source is the authority, not us.

Your responsibility

Decisions about paying, withholding, disputing or negotiating an invoice are yours. Use the result as a question to take to your tradesperson, or to a professional adviser where the money involved warrants one.

This website

This is an information website. We do not accept documents, payments or new interest registrations here. The website has no analytics scripts or advertising pixels of its own. Ordinary connection metadata is processed by the hosting infrastructure.
